Sen. Chambers Sues God; ‘God’ replies

Posted by infinitygoods on September 21, 2007

District Court office clerks have told the media that “God” has “miraculously” filed a one-page document marked “Special Appearances” in response to a lawsuit filed against Him by Nebraska Sen. Ernie Chambers.

Chambers likes frivolous lawsuits so much that in response to bills attempting to stop such suits, Chambers is suing God despite being an atheist, or rather because he is one.

Chambers told Fox affiliates, “The Constitution requires that the courthouse doors be open, so you cannot prohibit the filing of suits. Anyone can sue anyone they choose, even God.”

Chambers blames God for terrorist threats and so-called acts of God.

Obviously, Chambers was too scared to sue the devil. Unlike God, the devil doesn’t forgive anyone.

Chambers is making a mockery not only of religion but the court system as well. He is wasting valuable court time and taxpayer money. He is renowned for fillibustering, making anti-Christian comments and for his part in fueling the Franklin Coverup Hoax of 1989, in which the Washington Times published a story under the headline “Homosexual prostitution inquiry ensnares VIPs with Reagan, Bush — ‘Call boys’ took midnight tour of White House.” (A grand jury determined the charges were an elaborate hoax.)

Shall we thank God he is not eligible for re-election after 4 decades in office?
