Jesus Directed To Prepare The Passover

Posted by infinitygoods on April 8, 2008

Have you ever celebrated Pesach or Passover as Jesus did with His apostles for The Last Super?

Pictured here are samples of the Seder Plates used for the Passover dinner. Our church and several other churches in our area celebrate the seder meal each year and several newspaper articles have been written about it in the Los Angeles Times and the Los Angeles Daily News. Has this Jewish celebration been adopted by your church, I wonder? If you are Jewish, I’d love to hear about your memories or what you look forward to each year during Passover.

That’s a great illustration for Passover. I never have participated in a Jewish passover meal. In the church I grew up in we did celebrate Passover instead of Easter. We’d have a passover meal together but it was just a Russian peasant style meal not a full on seder.

Yes, I have participated in this meal, and it’s such an honor. I believe we should celebrate these feasts, after all Jesus was Jewish and this is what He did!

We miss so much when we don’t dig and learn about all the rich history of our adopted brothers and sisters in Christ.

I have celebrated passover with the seder plates! My favorite is the walnut apple spread! It is amazing the portrayal of Christ in the seder! Love it.
