Black Friday Holiday Shopping Sales, Deals and Savings

The morning after Thanksgiving is the biggest shopping day of the year here in the United States and it even has it’s own name, Black Friday. While most people go shopping at ungodly hours like 4 to 6 a.m., I usually stay snug in my bed just so I don’t have to fight the crowds. This year we can have our cake and eat it too. With our store, infinitygoods.com, being an Amazon Affiliate, I was told of a special Black Friday opportunity. If you link to my store on Friday, November 23, 2007 between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Pacific Standard Time, you will be able to stay home in your PJs and take advantage of special affiliate sales. No crowds, no bumper to bumper lines in the parking lot, you won’t even have to get showered and dressed before the sun is up, yet you can still shop to your little heart’s content and enjoy all the Black Friday sales, deals and savings. At infinitygoods.com we normally carry selected items of interest to families, but on Black Friday we’re linking to the entire Amazon Web site so that you’ll be able to save on all the sales, deals and savings available to Amazon Affiliates. So be sure to go to our store on Friday. It will definitely be worth your while because there will be hourly deals from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. PST along with thousands of products on sale for a limited time. There will even be gift wrapping for only $.99 per item to make the busy holiday season that much easier for you.

It works for me and it will work for you too. For more Works For Me Wednesday participants visit Rocks in My Dryer.

Only One Week Until Thanksgiving

Posted by infinitygoods on November 15, 2007

Pilgrims

It’s only one week until Thanksgiving, here in the United States. I found these pictures in Flickr’s public files, courtesy of Dailyville. These Pilgrims were at the living history museum in Massachusetts wearing period dress from 1627. They interact with visitors while working on their daily chores.

Pilgrim Village

Here’s a photo of the Plimoth Plantation (Plymouth), Massachusetts, a recreated village where visitors can stroll along and see the Pilgrims go about their daily lives. The Pilgrims landed in 1620 and the museum depicts the year 1627.

Infinity Goods wishes you a great week while you go about your own daily chores preparing for our annual feast and day of Thanksgiving.

WFMW — Holiday Decorating Tips and Ideas

Posted by infinitygoods on November 6, 2007

nano_06_icon_micro3.gifnablo0790x33participant.jpg

Today’s Works For Me Wednesday carnival is reversed. Instead of me giving you tips and ideas, you give them to me and my readers.

With Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas and the New Year all coming in quick succession, I’d like to know about your best holiday decorating tips and ideas. Let us know what makes your life easier, what makes your house a home, what your guests and family ooh and ahh about, what traditions you keep, what collections you have. Do you decorate a tree, a nativity, an outdoor menorah, a front door? We want to know and be inspired by you.

I’ll see you on your blogs and I’ll be trying to answer as many of your questions. Don’t forget to stop by Shannon’s for a list of all the participants. And remember, you can comment even if you don’t have a post listed on Shannon’s page.

I’m participating in Chili‘s Holiday Shopping List on November 12. See my post for more details about what I’ll be doing and be sure to come back here on the 12th (and daily too because I LOVE a blog home filled with great reading guests like you and I’m also participating in National Blog Post Month so there’s lots to read).

Homemade Bread Stuffing

Posted by infinitygoods on October 16, 2007

If your family refuses to eat the ends of bread loaves or you get some hard leftovers, don’t throw them out. I have a tip just in time for Thanksgiving dinner. Just start saving them for your stuffing.

Accumulate them in a freezer bag and either tear up in small pieces or use your food processor. Add your favorite spices and butter and you’re ready to stuff your bird (even chicken). For better taste, I also add any of the following: ground sausage meat, celery, apples, raisins, broth, and/or sherry.

You’ve used bread your family would normally throw out, you get better stuffing than what you get in those boxes, you save money, and it’s always at the ready in the freezer. It’s great, so start saving now for your Thanksgiving and Christmas turkeys and your any day chickens.

I have two tips today, so be sure to read my other post about a child’s first haircut.

If you missed my other WFMW tips, here they are:

And don’t forget to stop by Shannon’s Rocks in My Dryer for lots more tips from all the participants.
